During the study course, students can choose to attend one-semester study in one of the foreign universities, in Italy or abroad. The students who want to go to one of the Anglo-Saxon countries (includingThe University of Malta and US universities) must pass the TOEFL examination and obtain a score of 550 to be accepted or an IELTS examination and obtain a score of 6 to be accepted. These students have to consult the English teacher for the preparations to examination.
During the semester abroad, the student must complete a certain number of modules sufficient to achieve a total of 24 ECTS credits.

 

For the Bachelors of Arts
The students interested in making this type of experience have to depart in the first semester of the third year of the study programme.

For the Masters of Arts
The students of the MA interested in making this type of experience have to depart in the first semester of the second year of the study programme.

The Study Abroad Programme is coordinated by the Welfare & Student Affairs Office with regard to bonds with the Erasmus and Socrates Programmes. The universities chosen for this period of study are Anglo-Saxon ones with elevated standards of teaching and the quality control of the academic activities. The courses are estimated by the host university and, for the credit system, are automatically acknowledged by our University.
