Rosellina M. Mancina is Associate Professor at Link Campus University, SSD MED/50 (Applied Medical Technical Sciences). He obtained the National Scientific Qualification for the second level in the competition sectors 06/N1 (Sciences Of Health Professions And Applied Medical Technology) and 06/A1 (Medical Genetics, SSD MED/03).
After graduating with honors in Biological Sciences at the University of Calabria (Cosenza, Italy) and earning a Ph.D. in Endocrine-Metabolic Sciences and Nutrition at the Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro (Catanzaro, Italy), she moved to the University of Gothenburg (Gothenburg, Sweden) where she gained more than 10 years of experience in genetics and basic research.
Prof. Mancina's research activity is mainly related to the role of genetic variants in metabolic disorders such as Steatotic Liver Disease (SLD). Her field of research ranges from genetic association studies to molecular biology and in vitro characterization of human mutations.
