Vincenzo Mattei is Associate Professor of Technical Sciences of Laboratory Medicine (MED/46) at Link Campus University in Rome. Previously, he taught Laboratory Medicine and Biology at La Sapienza University and the University of Tuscia. He received his Ph.D. in "Human Pathology" at La Sapienza University (16th
Cycle) and the subsequent post-doc in "Human Pathology with environmental focus" at the same University.
His scientific production is collected in 84 international publications, with predominant interest in Cell Biology, General Pathology and Regenerative Medicine. In particular, in recent years he has been involved in Regenerative Medicine by evaluating the differentiation capacity of stem cells from dental pulp.
He actively collaborates with several national and international research groups and is the originator of a patent for the separation and cryopreservation of dental pulp.
