Lorenza Parisi is Associate Professor in 'Sociology of Cultural and Communicative Processes' (SPS/08) at Link Campus University where she teaches 'Internet Studies', 'Social Media Management' (L-20); 'Digital Marketing', 'Network society' (LM-59).
She was a visiting student at the HIIT in Helsinki and the Media Lab at MIT (Boston, USA). In 2011, she attained a PhD in Communication Sciences from the Department of Communication and Social Research at the Sapienza University of Rome. She works on the study of social relations mediated by digital technologies.
She authored various publications in the following areas: digital media and spatial experience; mediated participation and the transformation of public space; institutional and political communication. Her most recent publications include 'Where 2.0. Media digitali e esperienza del luogo' (https://guerini.it/index.php/where-2-0.html) published by Guerini e Associati. Since 2006, she has been carrying out consulting activity at public bodies and companies on digital communication strategies.
Her main research interests are the following:
