He was born in La Spezia on 28 september 1988. He attained a a Master’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Genoa, with a dissertation titled: “Proper methodology and common pitfalls of subgroup analyses in clinical trials”, and a specialization in Health Statistics and Biometrics at the University of Pisa, with a dissertation titled “Change in mammographic density and its role in estimating post-menopausal breast cancer risk”.

In 2026, he completed his National PhD in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Pisa, in collaboration with the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies and the National Research Council, with a final dissertation titled “Functional biomarkers: the role of longitudinal variation patterns in the prediction of clinical conditions”.

He carried ou research activity a the Biostatistics Section of the Department of Health Sciences at the University of Genoa and at the Clinical Epidemiology Unit of the IRCCS Ospedale Policlinico San Martino in Genoa.
