Prof. Lucia Bertozzi is part of the Department of Life Sciences, Health and Health Professions at Link Campus University in Rome, where she holds the position of associate professor in the scientific discipline MEDS-26/C – Rehabilitation Healthcare Professions. She is a physiotherapist and professor with over 38 years of clinical, managerial and teaching experience in the field of rehabilitation. She has worked at the Romagna Local Health Authority (AUSL), holding coordinating and supervisory roles in the professional training activities of the Bachelor’s Degree Course in Physiotherapy at the Cesena and Rimini branches of the University of Bologna.

She holds a degree in Physiotherapy and in Rehabilitation Health Professions and has undertaken advanced training in research methodology, systematic reviews and meta-analyses. She teaches on undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes at Italian universities, with a particular focus on musculoskeletal rehabilitation, research methodology, evidence-based practice and risk management.

She authored over 50 indexed scientific publications, with more than 1.300 citations and an H-index of 19, and holds the National Academic Qualification for the position of Associate Professor in Competition Sector 06/N1 – Health Professions and Applied Medical Technologies, now known as Scientific Disciplinary Group 06/MEDS-26.
