Moreno Zanardo is Tenure-Track Researcher (RTT | MEDS-26/D) at Link Campus University and Researcher at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato and IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi – Sant’Ambrogio in Milan.
He is also Director of Educational and Professional Activities and adjunct professor at the University of Milan, where he teaches in the degree courses in Diagnostic Technical Health Professions and Medical Radiology, Imaging, and Radiotherapy Techniques.

His research focuses on the optimization of imaging protocols, environmental sustainability in radiology, and the application of artificial intelligence in diagnostic and training processes. Winner of the Ministry of Health's “Young Researchers 2021” competition, he is the author of over fifty indexed scientific publications (h-index 16) and participates in several international research projects.
He is Vice-Chair of the Research Committee of the European Federation of Radiographers Societies (EFRS), a member of the Sustainability Committee of the European Society of Radiology (ESR), Secretary of the ISMRM Italian Chapter, and Section Editor for the scientific journal European Radiology Experimental of the European Society of Radiology. His academic and institutional activities are aimed at the promotion of translational research, sustainability, and the valorization of healthcare professions.
