Prof. Vincenzo Quinzi is Associate Professor at Link Campus University, Rome, a position he has held since November 2025 after three years as a Researcher (RTD-A) at the University of L'Aquila. He graduated with honors in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics and obtained a Master's Degree with top marks in Orthodontic Gnathological Therapy, a PhD in Experimental Surgery, and a Specialization in Orthodontics, following a rigorous academic path deeply oriented towards innovation.
He attained National Scientific Qualification for the positions of Associate Professor (2022) and subsequently Full Professor (2023) in the field of 06/F1 – Odontostomatological Diseases, reflecting the value of his scientific output and contribution to the discipline. In June 2025, he achieved one of the most prestigious awards in European orthodontics: during the European Orthodontic Society congress in Krakow, he was officially included in the EBO Member List 2025, becoming a member of the European Board of Orthodontists.
This international title is awarded only after the presentation of eight highly complex clinical cases and passing an oral exam in English before an international commission. The list of EBO members includes just over 120 orthodontists throughout Europe, representing the elite in the field.
This is complemented by another achievement of international significance: Prof. Vincenzo Quinzi has been included in the Top 2% Scientists List of Stanford University and Elsevier for the years 2022, 2023, and 2025, in the macro-sector of Clinical Medicine and the sub-sector of Dentistry. This recognition places his scientific work among the most influential in the world in its field.
He is a member of the UNESCO International Scientific Project on Human Oral Health Team since 2022, participating in research and dissemination initiatives of international relevance. A guest speaker at numerous conferences and courses in Italy and abroad, he is the author of 106 scientific publications indexed on PubMed and Scopus, 13 monographs, and 6 scientific texts. His research interests range from developmental orthodontics to new digital diagnostic systems, from biomaterials to emerging technologies for contemporary orthodontics.With an H-index of 35 and over 2,400 citations, he is a member of international editorial boards and a reviewer for high-impact journals including the European Journal of Orthodontics, AJO-DO, Orthodontics & Craniofacial Research, EJPD, Applied Sciences, and CRANIO: The Journal of Craniomandibular & Sleep Practice. An innovator in his field, he holds three orthodontic patents recognized by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, including REVERSE, an innovative direct skeletal anchorage system without surgical templates, with European and worldwide patents.
For over twenty years, he has been practicing privately in his clinics in Collemazzolino di Fiamignano (Rieti) and Avezzano (L'Aquila), dedicating himself exclusively to orthodontics and collaborating with specialists from various disciplines in the management of the most complex orthodontic-prosthetic and orthodontic-surgical cases.
