
Prof. Alessia Paganelli is a dermatologist with clinical and research experience in clinical dermatology, wound healing, and rare skin diseases. She has a comprehensive educational background that includes a specialization in Dermatology and Venereology, a PhD in Clinical and Experimental Medicine (CEM) attained at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, and a Master's Degree in Pediatric Dermatology attained at the University of Bologna.
She gained extensive international experience, including a Research Fellowship at the University of Miami in the field of regenerative dermatology. Since 2024, she has worked as Medical Director at the IDI-IRCCS Istituto Dermopatico dell'Immacolata in Rome. Her research focuses on advancing knowledge in the field of dermatology, with a particular focus on inflammatory diseases and tissue repair.
Prof. Paganelli is a guest speaker at numerous national and international conferences, as well as the author of over 70 publications in scientific journals. She has received several awards and recognitions and is an active member of international scientific societies, including the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) and the European Society for Dermatological Research (ESDR). Furthermore, she coordinates the National Study Group on Vascular Dermatology and Ulcers for the Italian Society of Dermatology and Venereology (SIDeMaST).

The professor is available to receive the students at the end of the lessons. However, the students may also request an appointment by email.
