Alessia Riente is a Tenure-Track Researcher (RTT) at Link Campus University. She attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Information Engineering - Bioengineering at the University of Rome Tor Vergata in 2019 and 2022, respectively. In 2022, she also attained her professional engineering license, and in 2025, she earned a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.
She conducted research as a research fellow at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart and, in 2026, spent a research period at NOVA Medical School in Lisbon (Portugal).
Her main scientific interests include biophysics, advanced biomedical imaging, artificial intelligence applied to the life sciences, physiological signal analysis, and the development of predictive models for precision medicine. She authored 22 scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
