
Dr. Giacomo Sica graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the Second University of Naples in 2001, after which he attained a Specialization in Radiodiagnostics from the University of Naples Federico II (2006). In 2010, he attained a PhD at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the Second University of Naples.
From 2007 to 2014, he was a radiologist at PO Pineta Grande; subsequently, from 2014 to 2016, he became a permanent Medical Radiologist Manager at the Radiodiagnostics Unit of the Valdichiana United Hospitals - Nottola Hospital - USL 7 Siena. From 2016 to 2025, he was Medical Director at the Po Monaldi of the AORN Ospedali dei Colli. In October 2025, he won a public competition for the position of Director of the Radiodiagnostics Unit at the Sacro Cuore di Gesù - Fatebenefratelli Hospital in Benevento. He is the author of numerous articles in national and international journals and has participated in several conferences as a speaker/moderator.
His areas of expertise include emergency radiology as well as US, CT, and thoracic, cardiovascular, and oncological MRI imaging.

The professor is available to receive the students at the end of the lessons. However, the students may also request an appointment by email.
