Gianna Dipalma is Associate Professor in the scientific disciplinary sector MEDS-16/A (Oral Diseases) at the Department of Life Sciences, Health, and Health Professions at Link Campus University. 
She is a dentist and graduated in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics in 2000 at the University of Bari with a grade of 110/110 with honors, "cum Plausu" and in Medicine and Surgery in 2023 from the University of Bari with a grade of 110/110 with honors, "cum Plausu". On March 4, 2005, she obtained a multicenter International Research Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry from the University of Bari in collaboration with the University of New York at Buffalo (U.S.A.) and the Eastman Dental Institute University of London (U.K.). 
She has signed two coordinated and continuous collaboration agreements with the Department of Odontostomatology and Surgery at the University of Bari as part of the research project “the testing and validation of the functioning, in real operating conditions, of equipment (software and hardware) for the direct intraoral scanning of oral impressions using optical methods and for their direct transposition into CAD/CAM format of a dental impression” and as part of the research project “Growth factors, dental stem cells, and periodontal disease.” 
From January 2008 to November 2012, she worked as a dental surgeon at Calabrodental s.r.l., providing healthcare services under agreement with the National Health Service (SSN). From January 2011 to July 2011, she continued her research on “PRF growth factors for guided bone regeneration in humans” at the Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine, Lyone 1 Claude Bernard University in Lyone (France). 
Specialized in “Implant Prosthetics” and “Second Level Implant Prosthetics” at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery - University of Bari “Aldo Moro.” 
Specialized in dissective surgical anatomy on cadavers applied to advanced techniques in oral implantology and pre-implant surgery at the anatomy laboratory of the University “Paris Descartes- Paris 5” in PARIS in 2000. Specialist in “Oral Surgery” since 2024 at the University of Bari “Aldo Moro” with a grade of 70/70 with honors. 
Specializing in “Pediatric Dentistry” at the University of Milan since December 18, 2024. 
Subject expert for disciplines in the scientific-disciplinary field MED/28- Odontostomatological Diseases in the Master's Degree Course in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics and in the Single-Cycle Master's Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery, MED/29 - Maxillofacial Surgery and for the disciplines of the Bachelor's Degree Course in Dental Hygiene at the University of Bari for several academic years. 
National Scientific Qualification attained from ASN (National Scientific Qualification System) in sector II Band and sector I Band Odontostomatological Diseases MED/28. 
For several years, she has taught as an external expert for various courses at CLID at the University of Bari “Aldo Moro” in Bari, Lucera, Barletta, and Taranto, in the Advanced Course “Oral Hygiene in Implant Prosthetics,” in the Level I Master's Degree in “Implant Prosthetics and Oral Surgery,” in the Level I Master's Degree in “Advanced Oral Surgery and Implant Prosthetics: Prevention and Therapy for Special Users,” in the Level I Master's Degree in "Implant Prosthetics and Oral Surgery: Proper Oral Hygiene Management,“ in the 2nd Level International Master's Course ”Advanced Oral Surgery and Dental Implant,“ in the Level I Master's Degree in Management and Coordination of Healthcare Professions at the University of Bari ”Aldo Moro,“ and in the Advanced Course in Special Dentistry: ”Orthodontic Treatment in Patients with Disabilities" at the University of Foggia.

Winner of 52 awards received at national and international conferences. Winner of national and international grants as Co Principal Investigator 1. Winner of the INNBIORES® RESEARCH INCENTIVE AWARD 2017 entitled: “Improvement of Periodontal Condition By Administration of Oral Probiotics”; 2.
