Laura Iacorossi, RTT Researcher of General, Clinical and Pediatric Nursing Sciences (SSD MED/45) at the Department of Life Sciences, Health and Health Professions at “Link Campus University”. She attained a PhD in Nursing Science and Public Health, at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Previously, she was a Research Fellow at the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS), at the National Center for Clinical Excellence, Quality and Safety of Care (CNEC) from 2018 to 2021. She was Developer at the Working Group of the Guideline (LG) on Integrated Management of Major Trauma from the Scene of the Event to Definitive Care of ISS, and is Quality Assurance for the LG on Complementary Care in Palliative Care of the Order of the Nursing Professions (OPI) of Varese and for the LG on Palliative Care in Adult Patients with Cerebral Gliomas of the Italian Society of Neurology (SIN), the Italian Association of Neuro-Oncology (AINO) and the Italian Society of Palliative Care (SICP). She taught Nursing Science at the University of Rome "Sapienza" and Preventive and Community Nursing at the Catholic University "Sacro Cuore". She is a lecturer in Research Methodology at the University of Rome "Sapienza," where she was the Teaching Director of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Channel I and Coordinator of the Level I master's program in "Qualitative Research, Quantitative Research and Action Research in Nursing." She has considerable experience in clinical and nursing coordination in oncology. She has participated in various national and international courses, conferences, congresses, meetings, and study days, both as auditor and as speaker and/or moderator and/or member of the scientific committee. She was coordinator and supervisor of research projects at the national level and has published numerous articles in international journals. She is a member of the European Nurse Directors Association (ENDA). She is a Member of the Oncology Commission for the Quadrennium 2021/2024 of the Rome Provincial Order of Physicians Surgeons and Dentists (OMCEO). She is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Coordination Group of the Center for Health Professions Research Studies (CSRPS)- Department of Integrated Activities Research and Innovation-Alexandria. She collaborates with the "Nursing Research Unit IFO" (Istituti Fisioterapici Ospitalieri) and is Corporate Contact Person of the Research and Projects Group "International Health Brick Program" (ProMIS)-Lazio Region. She is a Member of the Editorial Board of the scientific journal NSC Nursing at OPI Naples. Her research interests mainly include themes related to oral endocrine therapy and therapeutic education (ET) aimed at the patient-caregiver dyad in oncology.
