Associate Professor of Visual System Diseases at Link Campus University.
He attained Master's Degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Campania “L. Vanvitelli,” followed by a Specialization in Ophthalmology and a PhD in Public Health and Preventive Medicine at the University of Naples “Federico II.”

The main areas of clinical and research interest concern diseases and surgery of the anterior segment, with particular attention to cataract surgery and corneal diseases, the study of ocular surface diseases, advanced OCT/OCTA imaging, and the identification of early biomarkers in rare diseases.
It also deals with glaucoma, medical and surgical retina, and innovative diagnosis and treatment techniques.

He has undergone clinical and surgical training at national and international centers, including the Barraquer Ophthalmology Center in Barcelona.
He has been a research fellow on projects dedicated to the study of keratoconus and ocular surface disorders and has participated in national and international multicenter studies in collaboration with industry and research centers.

He authored several scientific publications in indexed international journals and has been a speaker at many national and international conferences.

He has been intensely involved in teaching, with multiple assignments including university courses, integrated modules, courses in the SSD MED/30, MED/50, and BIO/09, master's degree classes, and seminars in specialization schools.   

From 2023 to 2025, he worked as a researcher at the University of Naples Federico II, where he combined clinical and teaching activities in healthcare degree courses.
