Marta Ponzano is tenure track researcher in Medical Statistics at Link Campus University since 20 October 2025.
Born in Alessandria on 11 July 1995, she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematical Statistics and Computer Data Processing from the University of Genoa and a master's degree in Biostatistics from the University of Milan-Bicocca, completing a period of research in Boston at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
In 2025, she completed her international PhD in Health Sciences at the University of Genoa, conducting part of her research at Harvard University. He presented a final dissertation entitled: "Multiple Sclerosis: insights on COVID-19, treatments and inequalities".
She carried out a research period as research fellow at the University of Genoa. She participates in several research projects, mainly focused on multiple sclerosis and the analysis of environmental mixtures, and speaks at numerous national and international conferences.
She teaches medical statistics at university level and in 2024 she attained national scientific accreditation as a second-level university professor.
OFFICE HOURS
The professor is available to receive the students at the end of the lessons. However, the students may also request an appointment by email.
