She graduated in Applied Molecular Biology, then attained a PhD in Human Health at the Polytechnic University of Marche (Ancona). She is currently a fixed-term tenure track researcher (RTT) at Link Campus University, SSD BIO/16 (Human Anatomy), Department of Life Sciences, Health and Health Professions. Her research activity focuses on the study of tumor forms underlying gynecological diseases such as uterine fibroids and leiomyosarcoma using 3D cell models, morphological and molecular techniques. The effects of mesenchymal stem cells in the onset and maintenance of diseases with an inflammatory component, such as idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and Cushing's syndrome. Use of gene therapy associated with the action of senolytics on experimental mouse models to study the molecular mechanisms involved in the aging process.
