Stefania Cantore is Associate Professor in the scientific disciplinary sector MEDS-16/A (Oral Diseases) at the Department of Life Sciences, Health and Health Professions of Link Campus University. 

She is a dentist who graduated in 2004 at the University of Bari with a grade of 110/110 with honors, receiving praise and recognition in an international journal. In 2005, she completed a postgraduate specialisation course in “Level I Implantology” at the University of Bari. In 2008, she specialized in “Orthodontics” at the Second University of Naples. In 2010, she attained certification for lingual orthodontic treatments with the “INCOGNITO -3M Unitek” system at the Federico II University of Naples. In 2015, she specialised in “Oral Surgery” at the University of Milan. In 2017, she qualified to use the Intra-Lock® “IntraSpinTM” system for the production of “Leukocyte - Platelet Rich Fibrin (L-PRFTM)”. In 2017, she qualified to prescribe oral devices for the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea. In 2022, she attaine a Level II International Master in "Advanced Oral Surgery and Dental Implantology" - 2nd Level International Master Course: "Advanced Oral Surgery and Dental Implantology". In 2023, she completed the “Annual Course in Aesthetic Medicine” (50 ECM) at “Nicalos Srl” in collaboration with the LUM “Giuseppe Degennaro” University. 

During the 2014/2015 academic year, she served as an external expert on the Level II International Master at the University of Bari “Aldo Moro” titled: “Advanced oral surgery and implant surgery”. In 2017 (for one academic year), he held the position of Visiting Professor, starting on 3 April 2017, at City Unity College, Greece (and affiliated institutions). In 2018 (for one academic year), he served as Visiting Senior Clinical Lecturer, starting on 11 January 2018, for the “MClinDent programme in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics” at BPP University, Faculty of Dentistry, Birmingham, United Kingdom. Visiting Professor, from February 2019 to December 2023 at the University of Medicine, Tirana, Faculty of Dentistry (Fakulteti i Mjekësisë Dentare-FMD), Tirana, Albania (registered as a State University). In 2025, she was assigned teaching and practical seminar activities within the School of Specialisation in Oral Surgery and the Master's Degree Course in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics at the University of Foggia. 

Winner of the 2015 Research Award from the Order of Physicians, Surgeons, and Dentists (OMCeO) of Bari and numerous other awards received at national and international conferences.

Associate Editor (Section Aging and Dental Medicine) for the international journal "Frontiers in Dental Medicine" (Published by: Frontiers Media S.A.), Academic Editor for the international journals “Stem Cells International” and “BioMed Research International” (Published by: Wiley), and Editorial Board member for the international journal “Dentistry Journal” (Published by: MDPI - Open Access Publishing).

She participated as a member and contractor in several research projects of international (Innovative-Biological-Research), national (PRIN), and local (University of Bari and University of Campania) interest. In 2023, she was a Research Fellow for the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” as part of a project funded by the Regional Operational Program (POR).  Founding member and member of the Board of Directors of “POLYPHENO S.R.L.”, an accredited academic spin-off of the University of Bari Aldo Moro. In 2023, she was appointed as the operational coordinator of the research project in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Bari (Department of Excellence in Mechanics, Mathematics and Management), as the proposing entity, and the company “Sorriso & Benessere Ricerca e Clinica srl” (private company), funded by the Puglia Region “RIPARTI-research grants to restart with businesses.” RESEARCH PROJECT TITLE (file code: fd2942df): Fishing, aquaculture, and mussel farming waste: a resource for regenerative medicine (RICICLA-RIGENERA). 

Invited speaker at several national and international courses and conferences. Internationally renowned author of over 130 scientific publications and 5 book chapters. Listed in the “Register of Expert Peer Reviewers for Italian Scientific Evaluation - REPRISE” (register of scientific experts established by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) for the sections: “Basic Research” and “Dissemination of Scientific Culture.”

She is included in the list of Top Italian Scientists (TIS) for the field of Clinical Sciences. To support her teaching and scientific activities, he has attended and continues to attend various multidisciplinary professional development courses.
