Description:
The main objective of FI-WARE is the establishment of the Core Platform of the Future Internet, on the basis of elements (hereinafter referred to as generic enablers), which offer reusable and shareable functions, serving a variety of fields of use.
FIWARE provides an ecosystem provided by IWARE GE (Core Platform) , FIWARE Lab (environment of experimentation) and FIWARE Ops (distribution and management of the clusters contributed by the XiFi project). These implement tools for innovation with Future Internet technologies. They are complemented by tools to help understand and disseminate FIWARE technologies, called the FIWARE Catalogue and FIWARE Academy.

Activities carried out:
The proof of the developed concept integrates different types of mobility OpenData in order to show a multi-layer platform. Each layer consists of a single set of open data, such as bus stops, real-time traffic information, bus position etc. The integration of the different layers shows the real-time mobility situation of the whole city.
