Anita D’Anselmo is currently a researcher in General Psychology at Link Campus University. She graduated with honous in Psychology at the University of Chieti, where she subsequently attained a PhD in Functional Neuroimaging: from molecular biology to cognitive sciences. She continued her academic career as a research fellow.

Her research interests focus on the study of cognitive and perceptual processes. Her research activity has explored the hemispheric asymmetries involved in language and multisensory social perception, as well as investigating creative processes. She uses non-invasive brain stimulation (tES) and electroencephalography (EEG) methodologies to study cortical activity associated with perceptual processes.

She collaborated with national and international research centers, participating in multidisciplinary projects dedicated to the study of creativity in relation to sleep cycles (normal and pathological), the neuropsychology of dementia, and brain connectivity in neurodegenerative diseases with the aim of improving their differential diagnosis.

Her work has been published in indexed international scientific journals and presented at conferences on neuroscience and experimental psychology. She is also a member of the editorial board of international scientific journals.

She carries out academic teaching activities within the field of General Psychology. In 2025, she attained the National Scientific Qualification for the position of associate professor.

The professor is available to receive the students at the end of the lessons. However, the students may also request an appointment by email.
