Associate Professor of Anaesthesiology at Link Campus University and Medical Director of Anaesthesia, Resuscitation, Intensive Care and Pain Therapy at the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital Foundation in Rome, where she serves as Anaesthesia Coordinator for the Orthopaedics and Traumatology Unit. She graduated with honours in Medicine and Surgery and specialised with honours in Anaesthesia and Resuscitation at the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”. She subsequently attained II Level Master in Local and Regional Anaesthesia, developing solid clinical and training expertise in this field.

Her scientific activity focuses on locoregional anaesthesia, acute and chronic pain, pharmacology and pharmacovigilance, with consolidated experience in multicentre clinical trials and collaborations with national research centres. Principal Investigator of numerous clinical trials and registries concerning perioperative analgesia, nerve and fascia blocks in orthopaedic surgery, and post-surgical pain.

She authored several publications in indexed international journals and chapters in reference texts on anaesthesia and pharmacology, she is the winner of the SIAARTI Clinical Research Award and the Campus Bio-Medico “Better Medicine” Award. She is a member of the Executive Board of the Pain Culture Area of SIAARTI (Italian Society of Anaesthesia, Analgesia, Resuscitation and Intensive Care), she is a faculty member and professor in several national courses on pain management and locoregional anaesthesia, as well as participating as a speaker and moderator at numerous Italian and international scientific conferences.

She is a reviewer for several international journals, including the European Journal of Anaesthesiology (EJA) and the Journal of Anaesthesia, Analgesia and Critical Care (JAACC).

She is heavily involved in teaching at specialist schools in anaesthesia and resuscitation, academic masters and medicine and surgery courses, with ongoing teaching assignments in local anaesthesia, pain therapy and perioperative medicine. Her work combines advanced clinical practice, translational research and educational commitment, with a focus on innovation in the management of acute and chronic pain, ultrasound-guided local anaesthesia, the management of frail patients, drug safety and the quality of perioperative care.
