In 2019 he directed Non chiamateli briganti by Paolo De Vita and Mimmo Mancini, produced by Compagnia del Sole and by Comune di Bitonto, which debuted in Beirut at the theatre Al Madina in October 2019 as part of the 2nd International Festival of European Theatre in Beirut. In 2019, he collaborated with Tullio Solenghi for the direction of Lisistrata at the Greek Theatre in Siracusa, within the framework of the season of the INDA Foundation.In 2019, he directed Peggy Pickit vede il volto di Dio by Roland Schimmelpfennig, curated by Teatri Associati Napoli. The play debuted in Primavera dei Teatri 2020. In 2020 he directed Oh scusa dormivi by Jane Birkin produced by Teatro Mercadante in Naples. In 2020 he directed The Red Lion by Patrick Marber produced by La Pirandelliana e Teatri Uniti, the show premiered at the Napoli Teatro Festival and was represented at the Piccolo di Milano. In July 2021 he directed Fat Pig (La Pacchiona), by Neil LaBute, produced by Teatro Stabile in Catania.
In march 2022 he debuted with La Madre di Florian Zeller produced by Compagnia Moliere, Teatro di Napoli - Teatro Nazionale and Accademia Perduta. The cast includes Lunetta Savino and Andrea Renzi.
In 2023 he will direct Travolti da un insolito destini nel mare d’agosto adapted from the film by Lina Wertmuller. The cast includes Euridice Axen and Giuseppe Zeno. He worked as an assistant for Sergio Castellitto and Giancarlo Planta. After graduating in Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy in 1999, he directed the short film Don’t you need. Somebody to love (special mention in LAIFA 2001, Los Angeles), the short film Fuori dal giro, co-directed with Dario Iacobelli (winner of the Festival di Trevignano 2001) and the short film La Tazza (Franco Santaniello award at the Napoli Film Festival 2006). In 2016 he directed two short films: Non è volare by Paolo De Vita and L’Incontro, written with Philippe Goudard and Irene Alison, which were awarder in Madrid, Valencia, Buenos Aires and Fano. In 2018 he directed Il perdono by Dario Iacobelli with Lino Musella, Valentina Acca, Alfonso Postiglione, Gennaro Di Biase and Emilio Vacca, produced by Panamafilm, award-winner in Cortina metraggio 2019 for the best lead actor (Lino Musella), and among the five finalists at the Golden Globes 2019. Between 2007 and 2015 he was one of the authors of the event David di Donatello for RAI1.
He has been collaborating with Link Campus University since 2009, where he works as an extraordinary professor. He has been working as professor at the Italian National film school in Rome (since 2015); at the Accademia Padiglione Ludwig (2008); at the Accademia Italiana di Musical (since 2017); and at La Scaletta (since 2020). Since 2020, he is part of the teaching staff of a Master at the Università Suor Orsola Benincasa in Naples. In 2019 he taught at the Master for actors organized by the Experimental Centre of Cinematography in Rome and at the Barreira A+D centre in Valencia. In 2019, he directed la residenza artistica UFO, curated by Marcela Serli with the collaboration of Teatro La Contrada di Trieste and SISSA School of Higher Education, along with the Compagnia Fattoria Vittadini, realizing two perfomances: La cena della perdita by Nick Hunt and Are You Going to Save the Children? inspired by the text The Children by Lucy Kirkwood and the poems of the English Collective Dark Mountain. In october 2019, he directed a workshop at the Geymmazeh Theatre in Beirut.
Among his publications are the essay L’atroce ironia del quotidiano nella drammaturgia post-moderna americana, published on the Giornale Storico del Centro Studi di Psicologia e Letteratura; A New Form of Beauty, within the book Corpo Riflessione Immagine for Alpes Edizioni, the first italian edition of the texts by Trilogia della bellezza per Editoria&Spettacolo in collaboration with Masolino D’Amico and Gianluca Ficca and the text Liquido written in collaboration with Irene Alison, published by Nardini editore as part of the collaction Sottotesto, curated by Luca Cedrola. He was president of the Association Te@troshock which is involved with theatre therapy.
