Associate Professor in Mathematical Methods in Economics, Actuarial Science and Finance.
Her main research interests focus on stochastic models for forecasting, management and processing of big data and machine learning algorithms applied to the analysis of longitudinal data or data with complex dependency structures. Applications include climate risk and energy market management, stochastic mortality models and multidimensional dynamic data analysis.
Since 2021 she is the coordinator of the doctoral programme in Climate Change Risk Management in Finance and Insurance at the School of Statistical Sciences at Sapienza University of Rome.
She has taught general mathematics and quantitative methods for finance and insurance at the University of Salerno and the European University of Rome.
She was a visiting scholar at Bayes Business School, City St George's, University of London, with which she currently collaborates in studying the effects of medical and scientific progress on mortality projections.
OFFICE HOURS
 The professor is available to receive the students at the end of the lessons. However, the students may also request an appointment by email.
