The Quality Assurance Committee was appointed by the Board of Directors, and is comprised of a Full Professor, and a and other two Professors with experience in the field. A delegate of the President and the Director of the Research Department may participate to the meetings of the Quality Assurance Committee.
Quality Assurance Committee shall stay in charge for three years and shall be tacitly renewed, except in case of eventual acts of substitution or acts of renounciation.
The Quality Assurance Committee plays a decisive role in ensuring the quality of the Didactics and Research Departments, including the third mission of the University.
The Quality Assurance Committee:
- shall promote the culture of quality in the University;
- shall promote and support the establishment of the processes for the purpose of Quality Assurance, in accordance with the current legislation, and the acts of establishment;
- shall supervise the correct development of the procedures related to Quality Assurance;
- shall organize and develop the activities related to staff training;
- shall make concrete proposals for the purpose of promoting quality assurance;
- shall provide support to the Courses of Study, the Supervisors, the Director of the Research Department.
With regard to the formative activites, the Quality Assurance Committee:
shall organize and verify the information contained in the Annual Form for each Degree Programme;
shall supervise the regular development of the procedures related to Quality Assurance for the didactic activities;
shall organize and monitor the opinions of the professors, the students, the graduating students and the graduates;
shall organize and verify the review activities of each Course of Study;
shall review all the measures adopted;
shall ensure the correct flow of information to and from the Evaluation Board and the Joint Teacher-Student Committee
With regard to the research activities and the third mission of the Quality Assurance Committee:
shall organize and verify the information contained in the Annual Form for each Department;
shall supervise the regular development of the procedures related to Quality Assurance for the research activities;
shall ensure the correct flow of information to and from the Evaluation Board;
The Quality Assurance Committee shall collaborate with all the bodies concerned. In particular:
shall collaborate with the Evaluation Board in order to elaborate the academic policies on Quality Assurance and accreditation according to the current legislation in the matter;
shall provide the Rector with the information necessary to implement the Quality Assurance System
