The main purpose of Alizé is to carry out activities related to research, specialist training, civic education; realize artistic and experimental workshops and create programmes and doctoral research pathways within the framework of historical-political and historical-cultural studies. In particular, the Centre aims to:

  • promote theoretical and/or applied research;
  • continuous advanced training, concerning the design, organisation and execution of courses, seminars, lecture series, the preparation of teaching materials, participation in training and dissemination projects, the establishment of or participation in doctoral schools;
  • actively contribute to the diffusion of european and transnational civic education;
  • carry out consultancy activities, concerning studies of a monographic nature, formulation of scientific opinions, opinions on project activities, scientific assistance, as well as coordination or supervision;
  • disseminate research products by any means, including conventions, conferences publications, databases, workshops, etc;
  • contributing to the production of tangible and intangible products (including software) that are the result of the implementation of the research projects in which the Centre has participated or is participating;
  • the acquisition, registration, transfer of research results, as transfer of already acquired results of a study or research carried out at university level
