The aim of the Master's Degree in Management of labor, welfare and health services is to train professionals able to pursue managerial and executive functions, in institutions, public and private companies, healthcare organisations; as private practitioners in the economic-business area; and to set up individual entrepreneurial activities, both nationally and internationally.
In particular, the learning pathway offers high-profile training, with the aim to train graduates capable of presiding over and managing the main challenges introduced by the evolution of the labour market, of social and personal services, and of the system of health and health care services. Furthermore, the course of study intends to favour the development of skills necessary for the promotion of organisational well-being, for the enhancement of human capital and for the introduction of quality systems in personnel management and leadership.
In this perspective, the degree course offers training that combines the acquisition of innovative interpretation and governance tools - at macro, meso and micro level - with an understanding of social and economic dynamics, in order to activate effective and participatory decision-making processes.
The course teachings are up-to-date and qualified and are supported by:
- analysis of cutting-edge topics, such as the adoption of data-driven intelligence approaches to decision-making processes and the valorization of intangible assets for development and growth, starting with human capital and social and environmental capital;
- functional activities to enhance the link between teaching and research (for example, seminar activities);
- testing of learning objectives with challenge-based learning (CBL) methodologies through which students are actively involved in identifying, analyzing and developing innovative solutions that solve a challenge, for example, a challenge on current problems and real issues.
The teaching activity is enriched by collaborations with professionals with business experience and by workshop/exercise activities and masterclasses held by relevant representatives from the world of professions and institutions

MODALITY OF ATTENDANCE
The teaching activities are mainly delivered in distance learning modality (30% of each teaching activity will be delivered face-to-face, while the other 70% will be managed online through the most up-to-date e-learning technologies). The teaching activities carried out in the classroom provide an opportunity for direct contact with the professor and allow for laboratory activities and practical exercises. For the part of the activity carried out in presence, students who meet certain requirements can also participate in live streaming, wherever they are, interacting live with the classroom.

Labour and Welfare Consultancy
The learning pathway in Labour and Welfare Consultancy offers the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in economics, mathematical-statistical, legal, business and organizational issues for the full understanding of the fundamentals of welfare and labour economics. The learning pathway aims to train experts capable of understanding and developing the policies and strategies underlying the sustainable and innovative management of labour relations and industrial relations, as well as the coordination and organization of interventions and plans for training, organization and corporate welfare, the promotion of organisational well-being, safety management and the promotion of quality systems in personnel management.
The learning pathway includes a series of subjects aimed at training professional figures qualified in labour market management tools, rules and systems. The course constitutes a response to a need highlighted by employers' organisations and trade unions and confirmed by the professional world.
The competencies provided by the degree course enable them to work as labour consultants and in other responsible roles in public and private economic sectors, in the study offices of territorial bodies, in national and international research bodies, in public administration and in the liberal professions of an economic nature.

Health Services Management
The learning pathway in Health Services Management offers in-depth training aimed at the development of professional skills related to the functional responsibilities of an administrative, managerial, legal, financial and work organization nature within institutions and companies operating in the health services sector, an extremely relevant sector in the tertiary sector.
The master's degree aims to train graduates with theoretical and technical knowledge on the management of companies and enterprises that make up the health sector, enabling them to apply these logics and tools in the real world. Upon completion of the training course, the student will have acquired the specific competencies and managerial skills necessary to assume a managerial role within public and private healthcare structures and in organisations operating in the healthcare sector.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Students aiming to enrol in the Master's Degree Course in Management of labor, welfare and health services (class LM-56) must have attained a university degree, a three-year university diploma, a qualification recognised as suitable by special laws or another qualification obtained abroad, recognised as suitable by the regulations in force.
Students who have graduated in one of the following classes are eligible for direct access to the course:
- CLASS L14 Degrees in Legal Services Sciences
- CLASS L16 Degrees in Administration and Organization Sciences
- CLASS L22 Degrees in Sports
- CLASS L39 Degrees in Social Work
- CLASS L40 Degrees in Sociology
- CLASS L41 Degrees in Statistics
- CLASSE LMG1 Master's Degree in Law
Otherwise, in order to be admitted to the course, the student must at the same time possess at least 24 total university credits within the following subject areas, of which at least 12 CFUs in areas a) and b) and at least 6 CFUs in area c):
- Business Sciences (SECS-P/07, SECS-P/08, SECS-P/09, SECS-P/10, SECS-P/11, ING-IND/35);
- Economic Sciences (SECS-P/01, SECS-P/02, SECS-P/03, SECS-P/05, SECS-P/06, SECS-P/12);
- Mathematical-Statistical Sciences (SECS-S/01, SECS-S/02, SECS-S/03, SECS-S/04, SECSS/05, SECS-S/06, MAT/01, MAT/02, MAT/03, MAT/05, MAT/06, MAT/09)
- Legal Sciences (IUS/01, IUS/04, IUS/05, IUS/07, IUS/09, IUS/10, IUS/12, IUS/13, IUS/14, IUS/17);

For candidates graduated in international universities, the adequacy of the curricular requirements will be assessed on a case-by-case basis on the basis of the coherence between the programmes carried out in the various subject areas, the training bases deemed necessary for the advanced training offered by the course of study, as well as language knowledge.
Linguistic knowledge and skills consistent with the language of the degree and/or the individual curriculum are also required. Native speakers and holders of appropriate language certificates are exempt from this requirement. Finally, the student's adequate personal preparation is assessed. Without prejudice to the aforementioned admission requirements, in order to lead enrolled students to the achievement of the common educational objectives, the candidates must take a personal preparation test. The personal preparation test consists in an interview conducted by a Commission appointed by the Rector. The interview is conducted on general topics falling within the subject areas related to the curricular requirements for admission to the degree course. Without prejudice to the aforementioned admission requirements, in order to lead enrolled students to the achievement of the common educational objectives, the candidates must take a personal preparation test. The personal preparation test consists in an interview conducted by a Commission appointed by the Rector. The interview is conducted on general topics falling within the subject areas related to the curricular requirements for admission to the degree course.
Students who have obtained a Bachelor's Degree at Link Campus University and those who have graduated from another university in the above-mentioned degree programmes with a mark of no less than 100/110, shall be exempt from the personal preparation test.
TUTORING
The course supports students through 4 different types of tutoring:
- Orientation and transversal tutoring, carried out by Education Coordinators, aimed at supporting the students in the reception phase, introducing them into the university life, monitoring their learning pathway, motiving them throughout the course (with special reference to the planned results), supporting them in bureaucratic procedures, the latter in collaboration with the Student Administration Office;
- international tutoring, carried out by the International Office, which wil offer personalized assistance to both international students enrolled in the degree course and Erasmus students;
- didactic tutoring, provided by the didactic support staff (teaching assistants, doctoral students, holders of supplementary teaching contracts, etc.), who will support the students with supplementary teaching activities related to the specific subjects of the learning pathways;
- specialized tutoring, carried out by Education Coordination for inclusion, aimed at students with disabilities or specific learning disorders and special educational needs, aimed at reducing the obstacles that might prevent their full integration in the academic environment.
WORKSHOPS
The workshop activities are designed as moments of learning by doing, through which the students will acquire and/or refine soft skills (team work, problem solving, leadership, communication skills, etc.), increasingly fundamental in the labour maket. Furthermore, workshops represent opportunities for in-depth experiential learning in direct contact with professionals in the field.
INTERNSHIPS
The Course of Study reserves special credits for orientation training internships, to be carried out within the University, as well as internships and apprenticeships at institutions, agencies, organizations and foundations, enterprises.

FINAL DISSERTATION
The Master's Degree in Management of labor, welfare and health, along with the relevant academic qualification, is conferred upon completion of a final examination. To be admitted to the final examination, the student must have passed all the training activities envisaged by the Degree Course and must have fulfilled all administrative obligations.
The final examination consists in the discussion, before a special committee, of a dissertation, written under the guidance of a supervising professor, on a subject related to a discipline in which the student has passed the final examination.
The dissertation, which requires specific characteristics of originality (also linked to any internship experience), must demonstrate the acquired mastery of the analytical tools learnt during the course of study, the ability to integrate the diversified disciplinary knowledge learnt, as well as the communicative skills suitable for a profitable entry into the world of work and/or the continuation of the course of study in subsequent cycles (PhD, second-level Master, etc.).
The final dissertation must be written in Italian. The procedures for the final exam and its timing are defined in the academic calendar, published on the University website and communicated by the student administration office.
